TTX Lists West Loop HQ, Joining Downtown Parade of Sublessors

Chicago-based railcar company TTX is looking to sublease its 103,000-square-foot West Loop headquarters at 101 N. Wacker Dr., Crain’s Chicago Business reported. The space is among the largest to be listed this year on downtown Chicago’s secondary market, which has seen sublease space availability nearly double to 5.3 million square feet during the pandemic.

“As a company that serves leading rail providers across North America, TTX values the dynamic business environment Chicago offers,” TTX SVP Pat Loftus said in a statement. “However, the nature of our work is becoming less centralized and is leading us to modify the scale of our centralized headquarters operations.”

CBRE’s Chicago office, which is marketing the TTX space, cites the length of the tenant’s remaining lease term. Vice chairman Todd Lippman said in a statement that the space offers “broad appeal to major users in the market who can benefit from a turn-key solution.”
