TSMC Partnering on Massive Mixed-Use Project Near Plant

For Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), building in-demand computer chips is not enough. TSMC Arizona is now partnering with PulteGroup in a rezoning effort to expand the innovation corridor along SR 303 and north of Dixileta, which would support the company’s planned expansion.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports that developers envision creating a community with commercial, employment and residential uses, significant open space and land preservation across more than 6,000 acres.

The mixed-use community, to be called NorthPark Phoenix, would include a maximum of 15,150 dwelling units, including detached single-family homes and apartment rental units.

The Arizona State Land Department has not set an auction date, and the City of Phoenix has not started the rezoning process yet.
