TSCG Brokers Sale of 162K-SF Power Center in Gainesville

The Shopping Center Group (TSCG) has brokered the sale of Gainesville Plaza, a 162,200-square-foot power center in Gainesville. The sales price was not disclosed.

Built in 1971 and renovated in 2014, the center is located less than two miles from the University of Florida. At the time of sale, the center was 92% leased to a tenant roster that includes Burlington Coat Factory, Ross Dress for Less, Sav-A-Lot, 2nd & Charles, Lumber Liquidators and Hibbett Sporting Goods.

Anthony Blanco of TSCG represented the seller, an affiliate of a publicly-traded real estate investment trust, in the transaction. The buyer was an affiliate of Wicker Park Capital Management LLC.
