Truss Opens AI-Powered Space Searches to Retailers
Truss, the artificial intelligence-powered commercial space listing platform for small- to medium-sized tenants, has now expanded to retail. The company is launching its offering for retailers with some seven million square feet of available space options in its hometown of Chicago. A rollout n Houston will soon follow.
The platform provides virtual 3D tours of retail space, along with details on the amenities offered. Retailers can use the technology-enhanced and AI-enabled platform to review and compare their options, including square footage.
Truss co-founder Bobby Goodman calls the retail rollout “another industry first, as we modernize the commercial real estate industry and offer price transparency for retailers.” The company closed a $7.7-million Series A fundraising round this past August, and recently was featured by online tech community Built in Chicago as one of “50 Startups to Watch in 2018.”
