Trumark Urban Reveals 220-Unit Mid-Market Condo Project
Trumark Urban, a division of Irvine-based Trumark Cos., is moving forward on 1601 Mission, a 220-unit condominium project in San Francisco’s Mid-Market corridor. The developer, which has a 700-unit pipeline of development activity in the City, received unanimous approval from the planning commission.
The new condo complex will contribute to the transformation underway in what’s historically been a gritty neighborhood. The area’s attracting new investors that are being drawn by recent tech companies’ office relocations.
1601 Mission St. is a 12-story building situated on a “nexus” site, where a car wash is located between Mid-Market, South of Market and the Mission. San Francisco-based Polaris Pacific is marketing the project, while New York-based Handel Architects is the designer.
