Troubled StoryBuilt Selling $2B Development Pipeline

Embattled real estate firm StoryBuilt is selling $2 billion of its development pipeline. The commercial and residential pipeline is on the market by A&G Real Estate Partners and Onyx Asset Advisors in a receiver sale.

This includes 28 projects with five partially or nearly complete properties in Seattle. Other properties are located in Austin, Denver and Dallas. The pipeline is available for purchase in its entirety or separately.

Several notable projects in the Seattle area include “Stanley,” a 19-townhome development that is 75 percent complete in the Georgetown neighborhood and the “Josephine” development site, which is approved for 380 apartment units.

Founded in 2009, StoryBuilt is a real estate developer that has been facing financial issues, including lawsuits, recent layoffs and a voluntary receivership to help fix the company’s finances.
