Trophy MF Community in East Austin’s Hip Tech Hub Sold

Connect Apartments is planned for September 28th in Los Angeles. Here’s where to get more information and register.

7East, a new, 186-unit urban-infill multifamily community in hip East Austin, TX, traded hands for an undisclosed amount. The buyer, GF Properties Group, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund, while the seller was Stonelake Capital Partners and Ardent Residential.

ARA Newmark’s Pat Jones, who represented the owners, says, “Due to scarcity of land on the east side and rising construction costs, it would be impossible to replace this property. The area is rapidly gentrifying, but retains an eclectic mix and that’s a beacon for young professionals, tenants and investors.”

Located on 1.88 acres near Lady Bird Lake and downtown, the mid-rise luxury property has access to major employment, retail, public transportation and entertainment options. 7East’s amenities include a rooftop Sky Lounge and clubroom with views of downtown, resort-style pool, 24-hour fitness center, business center and conference room, and a leash-free dog park.
