Trinity Capital Advisors, Starwood Capital Group Start $1B Life-Science Campus in Morrisville

Trinity Capital Advisors, in partnership with Starwood Capital Group, has broken ground on Spark LS, a 109-acre a life science campus in the Research Triangle-encompassed city of Morrisville, NC

“Trinity Capital Advisors has been operating here for many, many years and we’ve always believed NC has the fundamentals to support a project of this scale given the access to talent, academia, research and capital,” said Jeff Sheehan, managing partner at Trinity Capital Advisors. “The continued demand for exactly this type of quality space will draw leading life science and biomanufacturing companies to the area and we are excited to usher in the next stage of the market’s evolution.”

Spark LS will feature approximately 1.5 million square feet of lab and bio-manufacturing space. Upon completion, Spark LS will include 15 buildings, various connected green spaces, restaurants, health-conscious retail, a STEM education and amenity center and several multi-use outdoor recreation areas all located near several housing options as a part of a newly developed live, work, play community.

Leasing is led by Cushman & Wakefield.
