Tricon Residential has opened two new build-to-rent (BTR) townhome communities in Garland and Saginaw amounting to 267 units. Tricon Garland has 101 single-family rental homes and Tricon Saginaw has 166.

Tricon Garland (photo) offers a variety of three- and four-bedroom floor plans. Every home includes attached two-car garages and fully fenced backyards. Community amenities include a community swimming pool with a playground.

Tricon Saginaw also has a variety of three-and four-bedroom floor plans. Every home also includes attached two-car garages, and fully fenced backyards. Amenities include a pool with cabanas, a neighborhood park, a “tot lot” for children, BBQ areas, and a dog park.

Regarding rent, Tricon Garland — average rent is $2,526. Tricon Saginaw — average rent is $2,563, which Tricon says is 45% less than the monthly cost to own a similar home in the region.

Tricon is delivering these homes in partnership with Blackstone, which has invested nearly $100 million in the Garland and Saginaw communities.
