TRG & JZA Architecture Break Ground on Inglewood Apartments

Los Angeles-based design firm JZA Architecture in partnership with developer TRG Investments have begun construction on Noxwood Apartments, a 10-unit multifamily community located in Inglewood, CA. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.

As the demand for workforce housing continues to rise, the development team for the project utilized California’s SB 35 statute to streamline approvals for projects that meet specific guidelines within the General Plan. Noxwood Apartments is located within an existing low-scale neighborhood in close proximity to SoFi Stadium, the Forum and LAX.

The three-story complex features six two-bedroom units and four one-bedroom units. JZA designed the building as a podium-type structure with a private parking garage on the ground level. In addition, the design uses two different tones for the front facade to provide contrast and vertical wood cladding to enhance curb appeal.
