Travel Stop and Industrial Park for Beaumont
A Love’s Travel Stop on Interstate 10 and an industrial park slated for the east side of U.S. 69 are two recent developments announced for Beaumont, TX. The projects are part of an overall development trend occurring in the southeast Texas region.
The Love’s Travel Stop will be built on Smith Road and Interstate 10, east of Beaumont, at an $11 million cost. The development involves approximately 12,000 square feet on seven acres, with the main building housing three restaurants. Also on hand will be gas and diesel pumps.
Meanwhile, the Jefferson County Commissioners Court approved development the Mid-County Industrial Park’s first phase. The spot is east of the former Al Price Unit of the Texas Youth Commission, on SH 347, which will become a charter school. The first phase will consist of an office building and warehouse.
