Transwestern Starts Construction on 225K-SF Warehouse Development

Transwestern Development Co. (TDC) has broken ground on its I-215 Commerce Center, a 225,185-square-foot speculative warehouse development at the corner of East Cooley Drive and Ashley Way in Colton, CA. Situated near the junction of Interstates 215 and 10, the project is slated for delivery in October.

The I-215 Commerce Center will feature 32-foot clear heights, 28 dock-high loading doors, ESFR sprinkler system, 50-foot-by-52-foot column spacing, 153 auto parking stalls and 31 trailer parking stalls, with frontage facing I-215.

TDC has assembled a development team including: Fullmer Construction; RGI; Thienes Engineering; Southern California Geotechnical; and Avocet Environmental. CBRE will handle leasing for the project.

According to Sara Santomauro, development manager with the TDC National Logistics Group,  “It is ideal for today’s industrial and e-commerce users that require modern distribution space that can accommodate high racking systems.”
