Transwestern Development Expands Northeast Logistics Platform
Transwestern Development Co. has expanded its national logistics group, naming industry veteran Brian Banaszynski as regional partner to facilitate the firm’s expansion in the Northeast. Based at Transwestern’s Florham Park, NJ office, he’ll source and execute institutional logistics projects with an emphasis on New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
“Both e-commerce tenants and institutional investors have shown continued robust demand for infill last-mile space throughout the Northeast, a vital logistics region for expediting e-commerce delivery times,” said Banaszynski. “We are well-positioned to capitalize on consistently low vacancy rates to meet pent-up demand and deliver value for our investors.”
Banaszynski was previously President at Heller Industrial Parks. During his three decades of commercial real estate experience, he has been involved in the development of 6.5 million square feet of industrial and logistics space, and 1,250 apartment and hotel rooms, along with disposition of 2.5 million square feet of stabilized commercial projects.
