Transwestern Charged with Leasing HHC’s First MOB

The Howard Hughes Corp. (HHC) has retained Transwestern to lease its first-ever medical office building development. The two-building, 67,200-square-foot project is being built in the 100-acre, mixed-use Creekside Park Village Center at Strake Drive and Rockwell Park Boulevard in The Woodlands, TX. Transwestern’s Lisa Bovermann is heading up the leasing team. Construction is set to begin at the end of 2018.

Bovermann explained that The Woodlands, approximately 30 miles north of downtown Houston, has been experiencing “a dramatic uptick in medical office demand due to the expansion of two major Houston hospital systems.” The two systems, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, and Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, means more physicians are coming to the area. “The Creekside Park project will provide physicians with state-of-the-art facilities and an abundance of nearby amenities for staff,” she said.
