Transwestern Appoints Connor McCarthy Director of Retail Services in DC
Transwestern Real Estate Services has welcomed Connor McCarthy to the firm’s DC office as director of retail services. McCarthy is charged with leading and growing Transwestern’s leasing presence in the Mid-Atlantic region through strategic partnerships with owners, tenants and the brokerage community.
McCarthy joins Transwestern from Miller Walker Retail Real Estate, where he was involved in leasing more than 1 million square feet of retail and restaurant space with an aggregate value of $85 million. He has worked with real estate owners such as Nuveen, Roseland, Columbia Property Trust and Beacon, and tenants like Tropical Smoothie Café, Barre 3, Pret a Manger and Duke’s Grocery.
“Connor’s experience working with a range of owners, tenants and asset classes combined with his entrepreneurial spirit will help power Transwestern’s retail leasing capabilities across the Mid-Atlantic and deliver a greater level of service to our clients and business partners,” said Keith Foery, Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic executive managing co-director.
