Trammell Crow Residential Divests from 238-Unit Charlotte Apartment Community

Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) has sold Alexan Optimist Park, a 238-unit luxury apartment community in Charlotte. The sales price was not disclosed.

Constructed in 2019, the midrise community consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom units and features quartz countertops, oversized kitchen islands, beverage refrigerators, customizable closets, and stainless-steel appliances. Community amenities at the 95%-leased property include an outdoor pavilion with grilling stations, saltwater pool, coworking spaces, fitness center equipped with Peloton bikes, a clubroom and a pet-friendly social lounge. The community is located at 1009 N. Caldwell St. in Charlotte’s Mill District, a former textile manufacturing area that underwent a revitalization to expand its urban footprint.

Allan Lynch, Caylor Mark, Andrea Howard, Jeff Glenn and John Currin of JLL represented TCR in the transaction. The buyer was not disclosed.
