Trammell Crow Residential Breaks Ground on Worcester Multifamily

Trammell Crow Residential (TCR), the multifamily development platform of Crow Holdings, has begun construction on its latest project from the TCR Northeast Division, Alexan Worcester. TCR will serve as both the developer and general contractor on the 220-unit project at 3 Oriol Dr. in Worcester, MA, with first move-ins expected in early 2026.

“TCR was attracted to Worcester’s vibrancy and growth and sought this location to provide much-needed housing to the City of Worcester,” said Andy Huntoon, managing director, Northeast division of TCR. “The site’s immediate access to the City of Worcester and its employment and cultural aspects, as well as the proximity to the UMass Memorial Medical Center and I-495, are great drivers for multifamily demand.”

Alexan Worcester follows the recently announced groundbreakings of Alexan Waltham, Alexan Peabody and Alexan Chelmsford. With this newest Alexan offering, TCR’s Northeast Division currently has more than 1,600 apartment units in various stages of development.
