Trammell Crow Planning $8.4B Forsyth Data Center Campus
Trammell Crow Company recently filed plans for a project known as the Forsyth Technology Campus.
The company aims to develop up to 12 million square feet, comprising 21 technology facility buildings, on a 1,630-acre site located along Johnsonville Road, Smith Road, and Collier Road, west of I-75. Development on the $8.4 billion project is expected to run until 2037.
Forsyth is a city and the county seat of Monroe County, located approximately 60 miles south of Atlanta.
Forsyth Technology Campus marks TCC’s third data center project in Georgia. The company also seeks approvals for the development of an 8 million-square-foot complex in Columbia County and another 2.3 million-square-foot project in Douglas County.
Last year, Georgia surpassed Northern Virginia for data center absorption.
