Trammell Crow Launches Construction on 60K-SF San Antonio Children’s Hospital
Trammell Crow has begun construction on the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Health Pavilion-Stone Oak. The 60,000-square-foot building will be part of the Christus Santa Rosa Health System and its Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, offering pediatric services and family practice groups, as well as emergency care.
Seavest Healthcare Properties will own the new building on East Sonterra Boulevard. The completion target date is summer 2017. The cost of construction will be $13 million-$14 million.
The project has been in the works for some time, according to Christus Santa Rosa Health System President and CEO Ken Haynes. He added that the expansion was driven by increased demand for pediatric care in the Stone Oak area.
