Trammell Crow Hits Construction Milestone at The Boardwalk
The Boardwalk, Southern California’s largest speculative development, reached a key construction milestone. Trammell Crow commemorated the ‘topping out’ of the 545,000-square-foot Class A office development with a ceremony at the 7.5-acre Irvine, CA site.
The two-tower, nine-story Gensler-designed project promises to redefine the workday experience by combining up to 65,000-square-foot floorplates with 5,000 square feet of restaurant-focused retail and two acres of landscaped open space.
The Irvine Business Complex development seeks to reinvent the traditional office by introducing a number of architectural innovations and outdoor design elements. Those include signature bridgeways and outdoor terraces that connect and embrace the open air setting, as well as open floor plates and contiguous space that encourages collaboration.
CBRE’s Dean Chandler, Justin Hill and Weston Chandler are handling the leasing.
