Trammell Crow, Greenland NoHo TOD Takes Shape
The development vision for Trammell Crow Company’s and Greenland USA’s transit-oriented project in North Hollywood is coming into clearer focus. The JV is proposing a 15-acre redevelopment surrounding the NoHo Metro station.
The updated design leans towards an option that includes a series of high-rise structures with as many as 1,500 housing units, 450,000 square feet of offices and 150,000 square feet of street-fronting commercial space.
The TOD would include multiple high-rise and podium-style buildings. The site currently houses a park-and-ride lot and bus layover facility.
The development team must secure approvals from Metro’s Board, gather additional community input, finalize designs and enter into a long-term ground lease with the transit agency before commencing construction.
