Trammell Crow, Barings Teaming Up on 800K-SF El Paso-Area Warehouse Venture

Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and JV partner Barings broke ground on Speedway Logistics, a two-building, 804,283-square-foot industrial development in Socorro, Texas, approximately 17 miles from downtown El Paso. The Class-A speculative warehouses are scheduled to be delivered by July 2026.

Located at 16400 Gateway Blvd. W., Speedway Logistics will rise on a 60-acre site at the Darrington Road exit and will include a 426,868-square-foot and 377,415-square-foot cross-dock facility. The development will be just minutes from the Ysleta-Zaragoza Port of Entry, one of the busiest commercial ports in the U.S.

Speedway Logistics marks Barings’ first joint venture with TCC and its first equity investment in the region.

Christian Perez Giese and Bill Caparis of CBRE will lead marketing and leasing efforts at Speedway Logistics. Powers Brown Architecture designed the project, and Catamount Constructors is the general contractor. Bank OZK provides construction financing.
