Trammell Crow Adds SVP to Southern California Team

Trammell Crow Company (TCC) is expanding its Southern California team with the hiring of Brett Montgomery as an SVP. Montgomery will be responsible for sourcing and overseeing new development opportunities for High Street Residential, TCC’s residential subsidiary. Based in San Diego, he will work across the San Diego, Orange County and Inland Empire markets alongside TCC’s Chris Tipre, Gus Avarello and Mike Annunziata.

“Brett is a key addition to our growing team in San Diego, which is a part of our larger Southern California team that works across the region, providing expertise across a variety of product types,” said Greg Ames, market leader for TCC Southern California. “Brett’s extensive experience and knowledge of multifamily development made him the perfect fit for the High Street Residential team in San Diego, where we believe there are ample development opportunities – and strong demand – for high-end residential product.”

Montgomery joins TCC from Alliance Residential, where he was the director of development for the past five years. He sourced development opportunities with closed-land valuations exceeding $87 million and acquired, entitled, permitted, capitalized, constructed and/or disposed of nearly 4,000 multifamily units throughout Southern California. He previously held roles with Fairfield Residential and The Conam Group of Companies.
