Trammell Crow Adds Cinema-Eatery to Mix at Houston Entertainment Destination
Trammell Crow Company is bringing Flix Brewhouse, a combination first-run dine-in cinema and microbrewery, as an anchor tenant at Hub at Harvest Green in Houston. An investment entity affiliated with Flix’s founder is acquiring the site, and plans to build and lease the 38,750-square-foot cinema-brewery.
The planned Flix Brewhouse is the chain’s new prototype theater, featuring nine auditoriums equipped with parabolic screens, state-of-the-industry digital audio and video (including immersive sound), and Flix’s proprietary luxury seating and sliding tabletops. The venue offers moviegoers in-theater food and adult beverage service.
Trammell Crow Co. is developing the upscale 300,000-square-foot entertainment, dining and retail destination at Grand Parkway and W. Airport Boulevard. The Hub is slated to open in Summer 2019, and will feature a warm, inviting and pedestrian-friendly setting at the entrance to Johnson Development’s Harvest Green residential community.
