Trademark to build mixed-use project in Oak Lawn

Trademark Moving Ahead on 415 Apartments, Retail, Office in Oak Lawn

Fort Worth developer Trademark Property Co. is building a mixed-use project on 45 acres. The Dallas Morning News reports it was originally owned by H-E-B but the grocer sold the lot to Trademark. Trademark is planning to build a 415-unit apartment community, retail and office at 3900 Lemmon Avenue in Oak Lawn

The seven-story complex is about 430,000 square feet and will have a corner restaurant, three landscaped interior courtyards and an underground parking lot. The community will be designed by Dallas architect GFF. Groundbreaking is expected next year.

Trademark is no stranger to the DFW area. It also purchased the 470,000 square foot Lincoln Square development in Arlington. It expects to pursue a mixed-use project at the site. The Arlington City Council approved $14 million in grants funding for the acquisition, and Trademark will be required to repay $9 million if it hasn’t invested $150 million in the redevelopment within six years.
