TopSide Marina has acquired the 5 acre April Plaza Marina in Montgomery on Lake Conroe, just north of Houston. The family-owned and operated marine facility offers boat storage, boat rental and boat slips available for rent. The marine facility also includes a ship store that carries fuel, beverage, snacks and various sundries for boaters

This acquisition marks TopSide Marinas’ fifth acquisition since its launch in 2021. The company’s portfolio also includes another marina just outside Houston, the Galveston Yacht Marina in Galveston, which it acquired in 2021. A quick glance at Texas marinas for sale averaged out at about $5 million.

Lake Conroe sits next to State Highway 105 and serves as one of the nearest recreational water areas and entertainment options for the more than 5 million living in North Houston, with more than 60,000 boats registered to owners who live within a 50-mile radius of the April Plaza Marina.
