Topgolf Plans its Largest Facility at San Jose MXU

Terra Development welcomed anchor tenant, Topgolf, with a ceremony at the construction site to mark its arrival at the Shops@Terra, a new 36-acre mixed-use development in San Jose. The high-tech sports entertainment concept signed a long-term land lease on one 13-acre parcel, and plans to build a 72,000 square foot venue at 4701 N. First St.

It will be the first facility to begin construction at the project, which also includes a hotel, 110,000 square feet of retail, restaurants and additional entertainment. It will be Topgolf’s largest and most advanced location, and is expected to open in the fall of 2019.

CBRE’s Nick Whitstone arranged the initial sale of the land site, and is also the listing agent for the subsequent land parcels created under a master-planned development permit.

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private.
