TopGolf to open in Memphis, hire 400

TopGolf Opening in Memphis, to Hire 400

Topgolf is set to open its new Memphis facility at 3450 S. Germantown Road this weekend. The facility will employ 400 people, from bay hosts to bartenders to “ball picker-upper people.” Construction on the $16.5 million Topgolf facility started last December. 

The facility features 72 driving bays and two floors. The bays are climate-controlled, with air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter. It’s not just golf. The location also has a full-service restaurant, 28-foot video wall, rooftop terrace, more than 200 HDTVs, music and year-round family-friendly programming.

It’s the 83rd outdoor location for the franchise, fourth in Tennessee. The site is expected to add $1 million to local tax rolls annually.
