Top Texas Cities, According to ULI

The “Emerging Trends in Real Estate: United States and Canada 2017” report ranked Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth  1 and 2, respectively, when it came to investment and development.

The report, consisting of feedback from participants gathered by the Urban Land Institute and PwC, didn’t rank San Antonio too high, however. The Alamo City came in 35th out of the 78 metros on the list, because of concerns about the area’s educational system.

Surprisingly, Houston came in at 40. Survey participants said falling oil prices were a problem, but the metro does continue adding jobs.

The rankings were from 1 (atrocious) to 5 (excellent).
