Top Retail Broker Joins CBRE in NYC

Joel Stephen has returned from Hong Kong to join CBRE in New York City as senior vice president for retail.

“His informed perspective around the Asian and European retail markets, and his deep knowledge of CBRE’s global retail platform, will be a real value-add for clients looking to evaluate expansion opportunities here and abroad,” said Kyle Schoppmann, executive managing director and head of occupier services for CBRE’s Tri-State Region.

For 11 years, Stephen has worked for CBRE. The last three years, he led CBRE’s Asia retail team based in Hong Kong. He also worked in CBRE offices in Shanghai and London.
