Top Broker Honorees: Joe Learner and Robert Sevim
Savills’ Joe Learner and Robert Sevim have worked together for more than 14 years. In 2018, they completed 43 Chicago-area transactions totaling 1,514,421 million square feet, valued at more than $374 million.
Among their deals, they negotiated Stericycle’s 103,115-square-foot suburban headquarters relocation to 2355 Waukegan Rd. in Bannockburn, and a 31,259-square-foot downtown sublease at 222 S. Riverside Plaza in Chicago; Brinks Gilson & Lione’s 78,081-square-foot lease at 455 N. Cityfront Plaza Dr. in Chicago; EN Engineering’s 79,830-square-foot headquarters at 28100 Torch Parkway in Warrenville; and Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP’s 63,749 square-foot relocation and expansion at 71 S. Wacker Dr. in Chicago.
In the case of the Stericycle lease, relocating the tenant to what was then a vacant building helped revitalize the area.
