Top Broker Honorees: Chad Firsel, Daniel Waszak, Jason Caplan and Zackary Hilgendorf

Led by founder Chad Firsel, the Chicago-based Quantum Real Estate Advisors team specializes in net lease investment sales. The team, which also includes Daniel Waszak, Jason Caplan and Zackary Hilgendorf, arranged $200 million of these transactions during 2018.

A case in point was the sale of two medical office buildings totaling roughly 88,000 square feet in Greenwood, IN. These buildings were single-story “med-tail” deals with some hidden value-add angles.

In another portfolio deal, the Quantum team arranged a retail deal in the Chicago suburb of Aurora, IL, including a single-tenant Walgreens. “We were able to achieve excellent pricing for the seller, and allow him to exit both the strip center and Walgreens in one transaction,” Firsel said when the sale closed last July.
