The Cushman & Wakefield capital markets team of Andrew Merin, Gary Gabriel, David Bernhaut and Brian Whitmer typically generates massive numbers, and 2018 was no exception. The East Rutherford, NJ team completed more than $3.26 billion in sales transactions last year.
Among the most notable of the team’s 59 deals was the sale of 100 and 300 Ridge Rd. in Piscataway, NJ, with 200 Ridge Rd. pending. This transaction centered on the successful sale of a 225-acre site and development, and the sale and lease of 2.2 million square feet of property.
The ultimate sale of the portfolio, and the pricing and cap rates achieved, demonstrated the velocity of the industrial market—regionally and generally. On a submarket level, it validated the strength of the I-287 corridor.
