Michael O’Neill of Cushman & Wakefield closed retail leases totaling 179,000 square feet in 2017. These 44 transactions had a total value of $320 million.

O’Neill represented the landlord at 184 E. 86th St. in bringing cosmetics chain Ulta Beauty to New York City with its first store in Manhattan, along one of the biggest shopping corridors of the Upper East Side.

He also completed 11 transactions nationally on behalf of UNTUCKit, a purveyor of casual men’s shirts designed to be worn untucked, and a pure player that came to New York City early last year by way of a bricks-and-mortar pop-up. The brand now has four locations throughout submarkets in Manhattan.
