Top Broker Honoree: Charles Cirar

CBRE’s Central Texas Multifamily team, led by Charles Cirar, specializes in acquisition and disposition strategies for apartment properties in Austin, San Antonio and the surrounding markets. Cirar and his team arranged $2.19 billion in transactions during 2018.

Among the high water marks of Cirar’s 2018 track record was Northshore, a 439-unit residential high rise with 52,083 square feet of street-front retail/commercial space. This is the preeminent mixed-use building in the Austin CBD.

Stabilized in May 2018 at 96% residential and 100% commercial occupancy, the property was marketed for sale both domestically and internationally over the CBRE Global Capital Markets network. The ultimate sale transaction to a U.S.-based pension fund advisor established a record transaction size and per unit pricing for the Sunbelt markets last year.
