Top Broker Honorees: C&W’s Andrew Merin, David Bernhaut, Gary Gabriel and Brian Whitmer

Andrew Merin, David Bernhaut, Gary Gabriel and Brian Whitmer of Cushman & Wakefield closed sales of commercial real estate totaling $2.4 billion in 2017, including land, multifamily, office, retail and mixed-use properties.

Based in East Rutherford, NJ, the team’s deals in 2017 included the $70.3-million sale of Observer Park, a 115-unit apartment building, to an investor who plans to reposition the property.

The team also presented Rockefeller Group with a rare opportunity to acquire a well-located 228-acre parcel along the I-287 corridor in Piscataway Township, where it now plans to build its Logistics Center – a 2.2-million-square-foot logistics hub.

The team also orchestrated the near-record sale of the iconic Lincoln Building in downtown Ridgewood, NJ, following the strategic renovation and re-tenanting of the historic building.
