TMG Lays Out Plan for 250-Unit Housing
San Francisco-based TMG Partners proposed a residential project of up to 250 units at the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Sutter Health, California Campus in San Francisco. Following an 18-month community visioning and planning process, construction plans include up to 37 new buildings, and redevelopment of existing ones.
TMG Partners’ Matt Field said the project approach focuses on a carefully crafted “family-oriented design,” which reflects community input “to weave this new development into the existing neighborhood.”
The CPMC redevelopment plan was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and is consistent with site zoning and the scale of the surrounding neighborhoods. Located at 3700 California St, more than 80% of units will have two or more bedrooms, including 26 single-family homes and 214 multifamily units.
