Titleist, FootJoy Golf Brands Recommit to Hines’ Carlsbad Asset
Acushnet Company renewed its 10-year, 161,310-square-foot lease at 2819 Loker Ave. East, a Class A industrial building in Carlsbad, CA. The parent company for golf industry brands such as Titleist and FootJoy has been a tenant at the site for nearly two decades. Since 2004, it has been the sole tenant at the property, which serves as the company’s West Coast Headquarters facility.
Hines, which acquired the building in 2014 through a fund that it manages, plans to build out a 5,000-square-foot mezzanine space to expand the square footage to 166,000, as part of the lease-renewal agreement.
Acushnet was represented in the long-term lease renewal by Roger Carlson and Lannie Allee of CBRE. Aric Starck of Cushman & Wakefield advised Hines in the transaction.
