Tishman Speyer, Katten Law Firm Sign for 55K-SF at 1919 Pennsylvania Ave

Tishman Speyer has signed two new office leases totaling nearly 69,000 square feet at 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. In the larger transaction, law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP will lease approximately 55,000 square feet.

Katten’s plans to move its location in 2023 involve shedding square footage. The firm currently resides in a 72,300-square-foot space at 2900 K Street NW, where it has spent the last 15 years.

The building at 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue features views of James Monroe Park and includes below-ground parking along with close access to the Metro. Upcoming enhancements include an enclosed glass rooftop space with a private conference area and a terrace space that will be leased to Katten.

Since its inception in 1978, Tishman Speyer has acquired, developed and operated 484 properties totaling 219 million square feet with a combined value of more than $121 billion.
