Tiger’s New Golf Concept to Open Soon in Palm Beach Gardens

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are teaming up on a virtual golf venue in Palm Beach Gardens, adjacent to Palm Beach State College. The venue will total nearly 250,000 square feet and accommodate nearly 2,000 people. The dome will rise 75 feet high, and the playing surface will be 97 by 50 yards. The screen will measure 46 feet by 64 feet. There would also be a 40-yard short game complex with three different putting surfaces, including sand bunkers. It will be called the SoFi Center.

Construction on the center has started. The TGL prepares to open play with PGA Tour stars in January 2024. Matches will be broadcast live during prime-time viewing hours.

TGL has signed up four of the six teams that will complete. Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur M. Blank leads TGL Atlanta, TGL Boston is led by Boston Red Sox owner John Henry, Los Angeles Golf Club is led by Alexis Ohanian, founder of Reddit, and tennis champions Serena Williams and Venus Williams, and New York Mets owner Steven Cohen leads TGL New York.
