Tiger’s Mini-Golf Concept to Open in The Colony
It’s not just slow-turning windmills and moving bowling pins. Tiger Wood’s new family-friendly golf concept is called PopStroke and it’s coming to The Colony, to be located in the Grandscape addition.
The 13,000-square-foot space would include 37 outdoor mini-golf holes and an outdoor playground area. Dining service with a full bar will also be offered. A public filing indicates construction could wrap up by the end of 2023, but there is no word on when PopStroke might open to the public.
The company’s website says, “PopStroke infuses technology within the golf experience to create an interactive and competitive atmosphere for all participants.” The jumbotron leaderboard keeps track of player scores.
The PopStroke menu features small bites of wings, meatballs, and pretzels. Guests can also enjoy a variety of pizzas and salads. Craft beer, wine, and cocktails will also be available.
PopStroke has one location in Katy and others in operation in Florida and Arizona.
