Three new hotels are being built by commercial real estate developer Tharaldson Hospitality. The properties will be located at Mesa's Bell Bank Park.

Three Hotels Planned for Phoenix-Area Sports Park

A commercial real estate developer has submitted plans to the city of Mesa to build a hospitality campus to include three separate hotels to support Bell Bank Park in southeast Mesa. Bell Bank Park is a 320 acre facility that hosts youth, adult, and amateur sports teams and serves as a venue for events, concerts, youth sports tournaments, and fitness opportunities.

The developer – Las Vegas-based Tharaldson Hospitality – is proposing building three hotels and two retail and restaurant buildings on the 10.67-acre site near the intersection of Ellsworth and Williams Field roads. In total, there would be 365 rooms on the site, as well as 7,600 square feet for retail and restaurant uses.

Tharaldson has already secured an operator for the hotels and branding for the properties. The branding for the hotels will be Residence Inn by Marriott, Home 2 Suites by Hilton and Element by Marriott. All three hotels will be four stories tall, and all will have outdoor pool areas.
