Thornton Tomasetti has added Jonathan Hill as vice president in its Boston office. Hill, a building envelope specialist with nearly 20 years of experience, joins the Façade Engineering team. He will focus on the design, performance, and construction administration of façade and enclosure systems for new and existing buildings. Hill’s expertise spans below-grade waterproofing, complex facades, envelope repair, and construction litigation.  

Previously, he was director of engineering at Kaizon Engineering Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand. Hill holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Penn State and is a licensed professional engineer. He is active in several industry associations.
