
Thor Equities Bulks Up with $49M, 525K-SF Industrial Portfolio in Savannah
Thor Equities Group has acquired an eleven-asset industrial portfolio in Savannah, GA for $48.5 million. The portfolio is nearly 100% leased to tenants such as S&M Transportation, Transrepublica, Pactra Logistics, CRS Inc. and Thunder Logistics.
“This latest investment represents our drive to expand our industrial footprint in the US, and our strategy to acquire and develop high-quality properties in top-tier infill locations,” said Joseph Sitt, chairman of Thor Equities Group. “Savannah has become the dominant port for the southeastern US, and so this is a key addition to our platform.”
Situated on approximately 27-acres within the SPA Industrial Park, the portfolio totals 524,500 square feet and is located five minutes from the nearest I-95 interchange. The assets are also located less than 15 minutes from the Port of Savannah and a 10-minute drive from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Thor acquired property in Adairsville, GA in late 2021 and plans to develop a one-million-square foot warehouse.
