Thompson Houston Opens Doors in Mixed-Use Tower
Thompson Houston has opened its doors to the public, marking the fourth Texas location for the boutique Hyatt brand. The new luxury lifestyle hotel is located on the first 15 floors of Houston-based DC Partners’ $290 million The Residences at The Allen, a 35-story combination hotel and condominium tower at 1711 Allen Parkway.
The new-build hotel, designed by HOK incorporates interiors from Houston-based architecture and design firm Abel Design Group.
Thompson Houston comprises 172 guestrooms, including 34 suites with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Thompson Houston offers one of the city’s largest outdoor rooftops, with a custom-tiled infinity pool boarded by cabanas, and a 2,500-square-foot greenspace, both providing views of downtown.
The hotel has a spa, fitness center, three restaurants and meeting space; offering more than 17,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space to accommodate groups of up to 800 people. And open space; it’s the only hotel in Houston with a 160-acre park at its doorstep,
