The Woodmont Co. Negotiates 50,000 SF Sublease for Hobby Lobby in Frisco, TX
The Woodmont Company, a Dallas-based real estate firm specializing in the development, management, leasing, and sale of retail properties, represented Hobby Lobby in a sublease to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a 50,000-square-foot building located at 5550 Preston Road in Frisco, TX.
Evan Bloom of The Woodmont Company represented the sublessor Hobby Lobby. The subleasee, Dick’s Sporting Goods, was represented by Edge Realty, Megan Trimble and Greg Bracchi.
The Woodmont Company has developed more than 14 million square feet of retail real estate throughout the United States with a value of more than $4 billion and currently owns, manages and/or leases more than 23 million square feet of shopping centers.
“During the past few years, we have seen a resilient retail industry continue to evolve,” said Evan Bloom, senior vice president for The Woodmont Company. “Occasionally subleases can be challenging. In this case, brokers for both parties worked hard to close this deal.”
