The Swig Company Purchases Newly-Built Beacon Hill MultiFam
The Swig Company has acquired its first residential community in the Pacific Northwest, partnering with RISE Properties Trust in purchasing the 139-unit, newly-constructed Colina Apartments in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Kidder Mathews’ Simon and Anderson team represented the seller in the $65.5 million transaction.
Located at 2709 17th Ave. S, the transit-oriented, LEED Gold, six-story multifamily community offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units with touch-free entry, high ceilings, abundant natural light and hardwood-style flooring.
“We’ve been looking for the right residential property to add to our portfolio, and we’re very happy to have the opportunity to acquire Colina. The community is in a great neighborhood, was thoughtfully designed and developed with an eye on sustainability,” said The Swig Company’s Stephanie Ting.
The property features a green roof and solar panels which supplies hot water to the residences. There is also 4,200 square feet of ground floor retail which is fully leased.
