The Sinclair tower in Nashville, TN

The Sinclair — 27-Story, Mixed-Use Tower — Gets Greenlighted in Nashville

Brentwood, TN-based GBT Realty Corporation has received the go-ahead from the City of Nashville for The Sinclair, a 27-story, mixed-use tower. Construction on the project, which sits at the intersection of West End and Elliston, will begin in early 2023.

As part of the plan, GBT has committed to funding $1.3 million of offsite public improvements. The enhancements are intended to increase pedestrian accessibility along with safety and access in the immediate area, which includes Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University.

The 27-story building will feature up to 375 residential units, ground floor retail and restaurant space and all below-grade parking. Gresham Smith & Partners is serving as The Sinclair’s lead architect and designer.

GBT currently has more $1 billion of commercial assets totaling 5 million square feet in the pipeline or under construction by its shopping center, net lease, capital holdings and diversified development divisions.
