The Rise Capitalizes on Hollywood Location

The Rise, a 561,600-square-foot seven-story mixed-use residential and creative office project in Hollywood, was recently completed by Rescore Property Corporation. Architectural services were provided by Nadel Architecture + Planning.

The development brings 369 apartments, 13 live/work units and 2,570 square feet of creative office space to Hollywood during a peak time for office/housing demand in Los Angeles market, according to Patrick Winters, president and principal of Nadel Architecture + Planning.

“The Rise is designed to take advantage of a prominent location in Hollywood – the conjunction of two high-traffic main streets coming together in a peninsula-like fashion with views of the world-famous Hollywood sign – to provide the living and creative workspaces that tenants in this market desire,” says Winters. “Our design for the project was driven by the unique nature of that site, combined with the special marketplace that is Hollywood.”

The Rise is located at 1331 North Cahuenga Blvd., just south of Sunset Boulevard and mere blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, the Hollywood Bowl and Runyon Canyon.

The Rise consists of five buildings totaling 341,600 square feet of residential space in six levels, more than 220,000 square feet of parking in two levels, and space for 567 cars and 410 bicycles.
