The Loop Lands a New Biotech Tenant in Alameda, CBRE Arranges Lease

The Loop Lands a New Biotech Tenant in Alameda

CBRE has arranged a 100,000-square-foot lease to Exelixis, a top Bay Area biotech firm at The Loop in Alameda, CA. The newly-leased building is located at 1410 Harbor Bay Parkway, and is the largest of the six-building business park. The Class A life science facility features 100% clean power, dock and grade-level loading and plenty of parking.

CBRE’s Mark Kol, Mike Raffetto and Austin Hinder represented the landlord, Invesco Real Estate and SRM Partners in the lease transaction. Kidder Mathews’ Gregg Domanico represented the tenant.

“The momentum of The Loop has fueled the growth of life sciences and STEM in Alameda. The Loop’s proximity to leading research institutions and Bay Area life science hubs allows tenants to draw on the region’s pool of talent across tech and life science sectors,” said Raffetto.

Completed in 2021, The Loop is one of Alameda newest life science properties and is home to tenants including Azzur Group, SentiBio and Penumbra.
